sinister moth
by Jack Henrya sinister moth
circles my lamplight
fluttering about
in dizzying circles
lost in its ambition
driven by instinct
smashing bug bodies
against electric heat
madness fills its coils
as it longs for freedom
but its gut drive it
forward, back against the light
bashing and mashing
until a merciful end
or i switch the light off
