William Wolford will compile and edit this fun sci-fi anthology!

William would like for you to know that response time will be slow for this as he's in school full time and has many other things he is doing, so figure at least one month for him to answer emails.

Here is some insight into what William is looking for:

I just want it to be a book of fun sci-fi (though it can also be dark) that reminds you of Indiana Jones, Star Wars, something like that.

Email submissions to Bill at wgwolford@gmail.com with 'Adventures in Other Worlds' in the subject line.

Please follow these guidelines, making it easier for William to compile:

Single space, indent paragraphs, no space between paragraphs. No page numbers, no embedded text, no headers, no footers. As far as I know, there is no word limit on submissions.

Review by Chris Bartholomew:

URBAN DECAY

ABANDONED ASYLUMS IN BLACK & WHITE

Photography and words by Jason Baker

When this book arrived in the mail I thought it had to be the smallest book in page numbers that I had ever seen. They do say that great things come in small packages, and this is one of those.

The book itself is beautiful. It's square, small, and dark. Every page is glossy. The photographs are very well done, some of the best of abandoned buildings I have ever seen and the poetry that is in the book is full of darkness and light, just like the black and white pictures.

While there are not a lot of words in this book, the words say a lot, and give you a sense of the people that once may have lived in these structures. You feel a sense of lost hope, loneliness, but also get a look into the people that may have lived in these now abandoned buildings.

Photography buffs will love this book. The selected photographs have a lot to convey. If a picture tells a thousand words then this is a huge book indeed. It is very well worth the money and it really is a darkly beautiful presentation of the abandoned asylums it represents. Well done Jason Baker. I look forward to seeing another photograph book from you in the future.

You can purchase this beautiful book here.
