The Red Mirror

shattered into shards

each piece, a different sliver

of the past. Reflections

still silvered, yet tarnished

by stark reality, 

What's left

of the mottled mirror

to my heart pulsing

like liquid thoughts?

I see red shimmers

of you, dissolving.
