Tooth Decay Edited by Tonia Brown Published by Sonar4 Publications
Tooth Decay is an anthology of Zombies and Vampires, with stories from 11 different authors. The cover artist, Jerrod Brown did a wonderful job. The cover is a beautiful piece of work, designed by Sonar4.
Biting Choices by Chris Bartholomew – Well, that's me. I like the story, you be the judge. Will the lady choose her vampire boyfriend or will she turn him in?
The Goth Prom Date by Brian Rosenberger – Cute story about a young vampire and his living girlfriend. The writer uses many similes, making this a hard read, but if you like a cute story, this one is for you.
The Face of Fear by John (JAM) Arthur Miller – Why is the book in Terri's lap moving? You won't believe this tale of a young girl who lost her mother and a group of friends who believe in necromancy. If you like dark stories, you'll love this well-written work.
The Breakthrough by Frank Roger – Read this scary story to find out how far a girlfriend will go to help her boyfriend's band have a successful show. See how a great idea goes horribly wrong.
Midnight Highway by Lucas Pederson – Why is Brian chasing the ghost of his dead girlfriend, and what is he going to find at the end of his quest? This is a good dark story you will want to read with the lights on and plenty of company in the house.
The Dripping Nose that Wouldn't Wipe by James S. Dorr – Don't let the title keep you from reading this great story. That is all I can say without giving anything away, but it's a good read!
Resistance by Kevin Wallis – Exactly who are the combantants in the arena, and where did they come from – what do we have to fear? A good spooky read.
Squalus by Michelle Garren Flye – Afraid of sharks? Try to remember to breathe when reading this well-written tale!
Stage Fright by Tonia Brown – Tonia has a voice all her own making her stories strangely wonderful. I enjoyed this little tale. What's an accountant doing at a PR meeting (even HE wants to know)? You won't believe the great ending.
Tooth Decay by Shells Walter - This is a Vampire Zombie combo. It's a very descriptive story I believe the reader will enjoy.
Sweet Tooth by Tonia Brown – Another interesting Tonia Brown story with another great ending. Who has come to the dentist office after-hours, and what is he there for – you might be surprised.
The Dead Don't Like the Sounds of Basketballs by AJ Brown – My husband loves this story, he even told the guys at work about it. You won't be disappointed, AJ keeps you reading to the end.
What Comes Next by John Bruni – Here is a very descriptive Zombie tale, so descriptive to be almost vulgar at times, but then, it's a horror story. If you like reading things that can really creep you out, this is the story for you.
All in all, this is a good read by some very good writers. There are a few mistakes, which are those of the writer that the editor didn't catch. It happens.
In reviewing this book, I have to say something about the formatting because it's something everyone who reads the book will notice. I would rather it have been in a more traditional format. Having said that, this is a very good book with great stories, and I am proud to be included. Every one of my friends who has seen this book wants a copy.
