Appendix
by J Michael Wahlgren © 2007
A masterpiece
set forth before my eyes
It included
the jazz-eyes phase
of the sirens.
It flowed so perfectly
like an eloquent pie,
shaped crisp, edge.
As I reached for my
dictionary to define
Kudos– I replied
and my appendix
split, but I didn't
need it after all.
