"Cry"

The sky thundered above,
Crying injustice to those below.
One child stood alone,
Too gone to know.
She walked aimlessly,
Looking desperately for something.
She cried nightly,
For she only ever found nothing.
The sky cleared one day,
After many years of pain.
No one knew why,
But the child lay in a ditch - slain._____________________________
