After
by Felino Soriano © 2008
After the rain melancholy voices
rise into devotional hymns. Clouds cry
in different forms, not that of rain
a weep, a thunder yell contemplating
after every dispense of burgeoning
deluge. The vast returns to normality
whispers, an exit from anxiety, too from
the propriety of comprised etchings
drowned within watery descents.
